The tables indexed under Class of Worker contain data that refers to individuals whose work is remunerated according to the various categories of workers: full-time or part-time employees, self-employed, business owners, seasonal workers, contractual workers, temporary workers, supernumerary, etc. The categories "local, state and federal government workers" used by the U.S. Census Bureau are indexed under Industry/Agent in Labor Force. This sub-indicator is more specific than Labor Status (in Labor Force) in that it excludes unemployed, retired individuals and volunteers, etc.
